Are we the real Orange County?

I'm way to old to be into shows like "Laguna Beach, the real Orange County." But that doesn't mean I'm not. Because I am. I admit it. I love that show.

Well, for the third season, it sounds like MTV wants to shake things up a bit and breath some new life into the series. There are talks of executives looking into an other area to focus on. Somewhere where the people are still beautiful, the weather is perfect and people want to be.

Hello, Newport Beach!

Yes, it's a possibilty that the thrid season of the show will be based in our backyard. Would that be cool or not?

Would you be in the middle of a catfight between two 16 year olds while lunching at the Crab Cooker?

Would camera men be crowding your space while trying to drink your yard of ale at Mutt Lynchs?

Does this mean that Laguna Beach isn't the real Orange County?

Are we?

Do we even want that kind of publicity?

Would it turn our home into a zoo?

So many questions. Do you have answers?

It's getting hot in here

TMZ is reporting that a brush fire has broken out in the Hollywood Hills, alarming close to the famed "Hollywood" sign.
Details to follow.

Baby Borat?

Are congratulations in order?

It's rumored that Isla Fisher is pregnant with Sacha Baron Cohen's baby.

Her and Borat have been engaged for some while, but no wedding date is set yet.

It's official

The divorce is final.

K Fed got $1 million.

Good times.

Swooon

I love me some Maroon5.

Adam Levine is a dynamic and talented (not to mention pretty high on the swoon scale) frontman and singer for the band, and I have been asking anybody who would listen "When are they putting out a new album????"

Their debut album, "Songs for Jane" is absolutley amazing and awesome, and one of those rareitys where EVERY SONG is fricken amazing.

But that was FIVE years ago!

I'm ready for more!

Check out the video for their new song, "Makes me wonder." It's hot and just makes me want more more more!

So, when is their new album coming out?

Mark your calenders....May 22nd is the day!

So be ready.

And start saving your pennies, because they are flippin unbelievable in concert. I have seen them twice already and that is simply not enough!

Waaa waaa, poor me

I admit. I'm completely taken over by American Idol this season.

I have my favorites (Blake is going to win the whole fricken thing people) and although Chris Sligh wasn't my number one pick, I liked his sense of humor and thought that his voice was good.

I could have done without the lisp thing, but it was tolerable.

I didn't think he could win the whole competition, but i didn't think it was his time to go quite yet (ahem...Sanjaya...)

Now I read this article and he really comes off as being a sore loser.

He gave an interview to his hometown paper saying that he never really wanted to be the American Idol. "I never came into this wanting to win it. I made the Top Ten. That was my goal,"

Ok, that's not so bad. I can understand feeling victorious by making it to landmark like the top ten. That doesn't seem greedy or big headed.

Then he said he thought about pulling out of the competition after the judges gave him some harsh criticism on his performance of "Endless Love." What stopped him? He was told by the producers of the show that if he pulled out of the competition, he wouldn't go be allowed to go on tour. This translates to no tour, no money, no pay out.

Come on Chris, you're better than that! Tell us it was a great experience and you're glad you did it. Don't get all "i-didn't-want-to win-this-stupid-thing-anyhow" on us.

Sanjaya makes me hungry

Some people won't take this lying down.

One myspacer has declared a hunger strike until Sanjaya is booted.

"We have no problems with Sanjaya personally, he seems like a very personable and charming young man.

However, he does NOT belong on American Idol. The judges faltered with their decision to place him in the 24, and American Idol voters have done even worse by keeping him on.

So until the day that Sanjya is no longer American Idol, I will be going on a hunger strike.

This means I will refuse to eat anything until American Idol voters wise up, and stop voting Sanjya through each week."

It's time for him to go home people. How many people will have to starve until this happens?

Jack Osborne Ouuuuuuuuuut

It's so pathetic that Sanjaya doesn't even make it into the bottom three. He should just bounce. He's famous now, and will get plenty of offers. One of them could be a hair model.
Unfortch, I called it on the bottom three and who was going home.
Sorry to see you go Chris, but you have a hot wife, so life is still good.

Who's that girl?

Woah!

What did Courtney Love do to herself? She got one of those make overs that basically make you look nothing like yourself.

That being said, she looks smokin! Almost unrecognizable.

Busted

Black Eyed Peas member, Taboo, was busted on DUI charges last night.

He the police's attnetion when he crashed his car and shortly after was popped for less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription, and driving under the influence.

The Popo gave him a ride to the L.A. County jail at 1:51 PM, but he didn't have to hang out long. He was released a few hours later on $5,000 bail.

Why are so many celebs getting dui's? They have enough money to have a driver 24/7.

Who's going home?

How cute was Gwen last night?!

She always looks amazing and totally put together. She gave the contestants some good advice, and I can't wait to see her perform tonight!

Now onto someone I can definitely wait to see perform again.

Sanjaya.

This is way past ridiculous.

Sanjaya is a joke and he know it. He needs to step down. He's not good enough for this competition.

A ponyhawk isn't going to help him win this competition.

And are you kidding with his song choice? That's a No Doubt classic and a hella hard song to sing. I have to admit, when he sang the chorus he sounded half decent, but everything else was so bad, it almost doesn't count.

That being said, he'll most likely get through tonight. Ugh.

I think the bottom three will be Chris Sligh (Jack Osborne,) Haley Scarnato (Disney girl,) and Phil Stacey (freaky stalker eyes dude.)

I like Chris but that lisp is starting to get to me. I think he's great, but not the best. I don't think he deserves to get voted off yet, but I have a feeling he'll be in the bottom three tonight.

Haley is a good singer, this is just the wrong venue for her. Disney will make a killing off of her in their parades and live shows. Her voice is too sugary and animated. Me no likey. Too safe and too boring.

Phil is a weird one. When he sings the chorus of a song, he nails it and it sounds really good. But everything before and after that it's just ok, and sometimes it's not even that. Not consistant enough.

The one that surprised me was Gina. She's usually pretty good but no wow factor and very forgettable. Well, I remember her from last night. I think she sounded amazing and really proved she can sing and deserves to be here. But I hated her outfit.

Blake was hot and sounded great and I'm glad he didn't beat box. I love when he does, but I think it was the perfect time for a little break. But bring it back next week!

He's consistently picking awesome songs that are perfect for him and are young and fresh. So far he's picked "You Keep Me Hanging On," "All Mixed Up," "Virtual Insanity," "Somewhere Only We Know," "Time of the Seasons," and "Love Song." All great songs and all performed brilliantly.

Tonight will be intresting. Hopefully it won't be total BS!!

Incognito

Any guesses on who this is?

JANE MAGAZINE Mugshots from Sundance- What's Your Crime??

Doh!

It appears as though the world's largest convenience store will get Simpsonized, though 7-Eleven Inc. said the deal isn't done yet.

If all goes as planned, the convenience store chain plans to refit 11 stores across the U.S. to resemble the front of the Kwik-E-Mart, the convenience store that Homer and other characters frequent in the classic cartoon TV series.

Customers also will be able to buy products inspired by the nearly two-decades-old show, including KrustyO's cereal, Buzz Cola and iced Squishees (the cup says Squishee, but the contents will be Slurpee).

The chain also will use pictures of Simpsons characters to promote 7-Eleven's line of fresh foods, such as placing the face of Homer and his classic "Mmmm . . . sandwich" quip on sandwich wrappers.

It was unclear yesterday which 11 stores of the more than 4,700 nationwide would receive a cartoony facelift or sell inventory of the Simpsons-inspired products.

The movie hits theaters July 27.

I can't wait:)

Dunzo

Model Petra Nemcova and singer James Blunt are over.

"They split in February. It's very amicable," a source close to Blunt said. A rep for Nemcova had no comment.

It's rumored that Blunt has been hooking up with a certain redhead fresh out of rehab.

Ok, I guess that doesn't really narrow it down.

I'm talking about Lindsay Lohan. They were seen leaving a club together and and supposedly going back to his place. Hmmm...

Dumb ass behavior

Jessica Smith from "Laguna Beach, the real Orange County" was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Monday.

She was questioned by CHP after being involved in a crash on the freeway.

It's reported that she was "driving a Volkswagen Beetle and slammed it into the back of an Acura. The CHP report said that her level of intoxication, unsafe speed and wet roadways were conditions that led to the crash."

Can you believe she's only 19 years old!

Can I get a vowel?

There have been whispers over the last few weeks that there's a chance Mario Lopez will replace Bob Barker when he steps down as host of "The Price Is Right" in June after 35 years.

Rumor has it that Lopez has been offered 10 million to replace Barker, but Lopez is holding out.

They could do a package deal and have Screech be the dude that warms up the audience, Jesse, Kelly and Lisa work the Vanna angle with the letter turning and Zack do whatever he wants and totally get away with it.

Free at last

Britney Spears is finally out of rehab, so let's hope she stays on the right path.

She celebrated her release by continuing to dress horribly, wearing a wig and one of those hats from "Big Trouble in Little China," attending Church (duh!) and taking a hip hop dance class in Hollywood.

I'm rooting for you Brit!

Perfection

Gwen and her family out and about. She looks gorgeous, as usual.

Don't forget to catch her on American Idol tonight!

Ashton has had enough

Ashton is hanging up his prankster suit after eight successful seasons.

"Punk'd" has had a lot of success roping in big names and making them look dumb. Hey, I wish I had thought of that idea.

You could call it our generations "Candid Camera."

Ah, who I am kidding, my generation was "Candid Camera." "Punk'd" is more my little brothers generation.

I'm getting old...

Anyway, the final season premieres April 10, but all eight new episodes will air back-to-back during a "sneak peek marathon" April 7, MTV announced Monday.

I have to be honest, I didn't know this show was still on. It's not one that I go out of my way to watch, but when I do catch it here and there, it's pretty funny.

Make it stop

Hiccups are the worst.

Especially when they keep coming and it seems there is nothing you can do to make it stop. It sucks when you're trying to talk to a client on the phone and every couple of seconds you make this hideous noise that you have to keep saying "excuse me" after each one.

Well, "The People's Pharmacy" has an intriguing hiccup remedy: a teaspoon of sugar. Fast, yummy, and portable (just carry a sugar packet around with you if you're prone to hiccups).

It's worth a shot!

Jacked up on the juice

If you're a real coffee junkie and feel panicked at the thought of not knowing the closest place to get a ventie carmel frap, you're in luck.

Starbucks says you can just send a text message with your zipcode to MYSBUX (697289) and they'll text you back with a list of nearby locations.
Talk about a coffee 911.
I guess my only question is this. Have you ever tried to find a Starbucks and not been able to? They have one on every block, and sometimes even two.
I don't think I could avoid them, even if I wanted to!

The Big Chill

I love vintage style. I love kitchy and fun and individual style.

And I love this little beauty from Big Chill Fridge.

It's got tons of personality, comes in a bunch of different colors and has "Gina" written all over it.

It's 20.9 cubic feet of 50's glam in your kitchen.

With prices starting at $2,700 for 20.9 cubic feet, I'll have to pass. But maybe one day....

Give it a shot

How many can you get in ten minutes?

Let's act like children

Seems like a little hotel room trashing took place in a Burbank last weekend. Do people still do that? It's so G n R from back in the day.

Scott Weiland and his wife Mary apparantly got into a huge argument and took it out on their room, leaving no pillow or chair unturned.

"Weiland and his wife Mary ripped alarm clocks and phones from their sockets and threw them, made "dents and gauges" in the walls, and there was even blood found on some of the linens afterward. (A picture taken at the scene shows a note attached to a trash bag that says, in Spanish, "with blood.")

The trouble started when Mary arrived at the hotel Saturday, whereupon the couple got into "a huge argument" witnessed by their two young children, who had to be taken away by Weiland's assistant.

Weiland himself then left, leaving behind Mary, who could be heard throwing things in the room.

The police were called, and the hotel is pressing charges for the damage caused.

There's no word whether either Weiland or his wife were injured in the spat."

Well, that's some good times.

Weiland pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges against Mary in December 2001 and was sentenced to probation and forced to pay a fine.

Go for green!

We had a great time celebrating Matty's birthday and St. Patricks day. Everyone got into the spirit b wearing green clothes, eating green food and drinking green beer. We drank, danced and got tattoos. What more could you ask for?

Misty watercolor memories

Look what we got yesterday!

I'm so excited to finally have our wedding album and I absolutley love it.

Hoffmann, our awesome photographer, hand delivered it and it was so worth the wait!
