Are we the real Orange County?

I'm way to old to be into shows like "Laguna Beach, the real Orange County." But that doesn't mean I'm not. Because I am. I admit it. I love that show.

Well, for the third season, it sounds like MTV wants to shake things up a bit and breath some new life into the series. There are talks of executives looking into an other area to focus on. Somewhere where the people are still beautiful, the weather is perfect and people want to be.

Hello, Newport Beach!

Yes, it's a possibilty that the thrid season of the show will be based in our backyard. Would that be cool or not?

Would you be in the middle of a catfight between two 16 year olds while lunching at the Crab Cooker?

Would camera men be crowding your space while trying to drink your yard of ale at Mutt Lynchs?

Does this mean that Laguna Beach isn't the real Orange County?

Are we?

Do we even want that kind of publicity?

Would it turn our home into a zoo?

So many questions. Do you have answers?

Happy Monday. Here's wishing you an excellent week...
I'm not for the Real OC in NB. It would be way cool to see familiar places on tv. But I don't think it's worth the attention. Imagine your favorite place to eat is showcased in the show as a place where a couple castmembers have lunch. Forget about trying to eat there again! And forget about finding a parking space near your fave beach spot if a cast member's been seen there. Not that NB isn't already overcrowded.
What do you think Gi?
Love you for reals,
Fi

Morning Fi!
I think you're right about being overcrowded and getting too much exposure. That's why I like Laguna Beach being in the spotlight instead of us. It's close enough where you see familiar places but not too close to get in the way of someone else sitting in our spot at Lil Knight;)
