There is something about this photo that is just so beautiful. I mean, of course there's a little newborn baby, and that's beautiful. But something more.

Who was the first to cry?

Nicole: I cried right away.

Joel: Right when she came out, you know that cry that’s like an internal cry where you shake a little bit? [To Harlow] You made me cry!

How did you pick the name?

Nicole: We couldn’t agree. I wanted a hippie name and he wanted a more Biblical name.

Joel: I really like Jean Harlow the actress, and she likes Shalom Harlow the model. Harlow’s cool because it feels like a classic name.

Nicole: And no one has it.

Joel: Winter was so serene and quiet and that’s how she is.

Nicole: I always liked the name Kate, but I knew I’d never name my kid that because it was just too plain.

Do you have help at home?

Joel: We don’t have a nanny. We have our moms. They’ve helped us a lot.

Nicole: And we have to give credit to Benji [Joel’s twins brother]. He lives six houses down. He babysits, like really babysits.

Joel: There was a day when I’d been at work all day and Nicole hadn’t left the house for 48 hours, and I was like, “Let’s go to a restaurant down the street,” and Benj was with the baby. Then someone said they read somewhere we were out all the time. It’s crazy. You leave the house for one hour and eveyone’s like, “She’s out! She’s leaving the baby!”

Has Harlow met Paris Hilton?

Nicole: Yeah. They went to the Ivy. Just kidding. I have to say, all of my friends, their demeanor completely changes when they’re around the baby. When they come in the house they’re really mellow and careful and sweet with her. And when you’re with a baby, you don’t think, like, “Oh, I’m this person.” She spits up on you and throws up on you and goes to the bathroom and passes gas.

On nursing:

Nicole: There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive. I eat really bland [food] — chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding

There's a new couple in town. Who knows how long this will last, they'll probably be engaged by next week. Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are in the very early stages of their new relationship, as in days...but already they're flaunting it all over Hollywood.

“They’ve been dating about three weeks,” says a source close to Hilton and Benji Madden. “Just kind of quietly hooking up and getting to know each other better. But so far, he’s really into her. And Paris really likes him, too!”

Hmm...this seems pretty conviniant for Paris, since Nicole is with Benji's brother, Joel.

I don't know, I'm just not totally buying it. Benji isn't the type of guy that Paris goes for, And he just ended his engagement with actress Sophia Monk. But hey, who knows. Maybe they found something really great in each other. Let's just see how this pans out.

Hangin' Tough

Even though they haven't made an official announcement, the New Kids on the Block are getting back together and it's rumored they'll be touring! I wasn't really a fan of theirs...well, maybe I liked a few songs here and there, but I would be totally undercover about it and only listen to them on my yellow Walkman. But Lexie was a HUGE fan, and so was Fi....so if they wanted to go see them in concert, I MIGHT tag along. Just for moral support of course.

I love American Idol and I really think they have a lot of talent this season. I know it's too soon to tell who will have a real shot at the title, but there are two stand outs to me right off the bat. I wish I could say one of them is Chickezie Eazy, just because I like saying his name, but he's not at the top of my list.


My favorite guy so far is without a doubt Jason. He's a great singer, plays guitar and just seemed really natural on stage. He's totally organic and if we asked Paula what color she saw when he performed, it would most likely be green. Plus, I love that he acts like a total stoner. His reactions when Ryan was interviewing him after his performance was priceless. And the cherry on the cake? He completley reminds me of a young Brandon Boyd. If you don't know who that is, you're missing out on some of the most amazing and beautiful music you have ever exposed your ears to. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to catch up ASAP. When you're done reading this post go Google "Incubus." You can thank me later.


And my top girl right now is Ramiele. I'm not sure why, but there's just something about her. Maybe it has to do with the fact that she reminds me of one of Moe's nieces? I think she can totally blow too, and it trips me out to hear such a big voice come from such a tiny person.

Table for three

If you know me at all, you know that I'm totally obsessed with celebrity culture. I read the gossip mags, and blog about what they're up to. I know who's hooking up with who and who's dunzo. I'd like to think of myself as pretty good at pop culture all around.

So, as I'm this into the Hollywood crowd, I have always wanted to go have lunch at "The Ivy." This is the mecca for all people famous and everyone who is anyone has had lunch there and been photographed. It has been a dream...

Well, my dream came true! My Sister Lexie and I cruised up to Los Angeles on Monday and met up with Roddy. Roddy told her he would take us to lunch at the Ivy so of course I was SO excited. Once we got to his office, he broke the bad news. They had no tables available, they were totally packed. I was bummed but didn't show it, and assured him any where we went would be great. And then Roddy, my hero, said "let's go down there and see what we can do."

So we cruised down to Hollywood, turned right on Robertson (yes, THE Roberstson where ALL the stars shop..Nicole Richie, Paris, Lindsay Lohan etc) and pulled up across the street to The Ivy. To say it was packed would be an understatement. There was a huge crowd gathered outside and the line went down the block. Roddy jumped out of the car and sprinted across the street. I looked at Lexie and wondered why he was even wasting his time.

Next thing I know, we're pulling up to the valet, walking passed the growing mass of people and being shown our table. And not any old table. No, only the best seat in the house. What did Roddy do? How did he get us in so fast? I decided not to question, and just to enjoy. Do you see all those people outside? The longer we were there, the more of them gathered. It was kind of funny. But maybe it was funny because I was seated enjoying a great bottle wine and eating sauteed shrimp. Maybe if I was out there in line, I'd not find it funny at all.

We had an awesome lunch, delicious food, the perfect wine...it was one of those lunches that you only hear about. You know, the three hour lunch, no rush to get back to work, drinking wine in the middle of the day....

Unfortch, we didn't see any celebs. Although, we were seated right in front of this girl who looked almost exactly like Paris Hilton. In fact, I think it was Paris. Well, maybe not, but that's what I want to believe. If you look at the photo of Roddy above and look over his left shoulder, you'll see her blond hair. It's hard to see in this photo, but trust me on this one. And there was a guy that I swear was the famous director, Brett Ratner. Oh, and that Prince Von Da Lou or whatever his name is was there. He's the ex of Zsa Zsa Gabour. Dang it, maybe next time we'll move up from the D list.

After lunch, we cruised Roberston and went into a few stores. I was most excited about Lisa Kline and of course Kitson. These are the same stores that my favorite celebs frequent, and here I am, just walking right in! It was so great. I don't know why I get so excited. It's kind of ridiculous actually. I get so star struck, even when there are no stars. When I first saw Robertson street, I was kiddy! Hello, it's not like I'm from Iowa. I live in Orange County for goodness sake. Is it weird that I get that excited?

I had such a fantastic day! I had the best time, as always, hanging out with my sis Lexie. And Roddy was so awesome to take us to lunch and check out all the shops with us. I can finally cross "going to the Ivy" off my list of things to do. Thank you Lexie and Roddy!

Lusting Over

Of course I love it because it was designed by my girl, Gwen Stefani and she can do no wrong in my book. But there's more. When I slipped this baby on my shoulder, I felt my heart beat a little bit faster....is that wrong?

It's one of two bags that I dream about at night and feel giddy whenever I just think about them.

I took this photo with my camera on the D.L. in the middle of Bloomingdales. I can't stop thinking about this bag...its buttery soft leather, its shiny hardware....I know to most people it looks like just a regular purse, why would anybody pay almost $500 for it? (Which considering it's a Marc Jacobs is actually a good price.) But it's all in the craftsmanship. And this style will never go out of style. The shape, the color, it's a classic.

Congrats to new parents, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony! Jen gave birth to two beautiful little munchkins early this morning in Long Island, N.Y.

People is reporting "The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon.

I can't wait to hear their names and see some photos!

Blaaaake

Amy Winehouse has been sporting a single black tear below her eye to honor her husband Blake being in the prison hospital. In case you didn't know, he was found in his prison cell writhing in pain and throwing up in buckets. He almost overdosed on heroin, but they managed to save his life.

English newspaper "The Sun" reports that Blake used autographed pictures of his wife to trade for a "Joey" which is a hit of heroin. He took orders from all the inmates and then asked Amy to personalize them. The inmates think they can get a few bucks from the autographs on eBay.

That's a messed up relationship right there man. But she "loves" him...seeing her on the Grammys singing and looking good gives me hope that she's getting sober. But then she screams out "my Blaaaaaaake" and I think she'll get sucked in all over again.

But I'm lovin' the black tear drop. I feel like it's something Lanie and I rocked in our chola days back in high school. Maybe we could bring it back?

Rihanna likes ink and she has several tattoo's. I love tattoo's and I'm all for it, but I'm just not feeling this one on her ear. I'm not even totally sure that it's real. Maybe she just drew it on there with magic marker? It doesn't look totally even to me. Any who, I don't like it. It looks kinda crappy and cheesy and lame. Dang it Ri Ri, why did you spoil your perfection?

The Drama is coming back

Yay! The Hills is coming back on March 24th! This is one of my guilty pleasures and I've missed it! I heart LC, even though she doesn't like anyone's boyfriend. I love Whitney too, even though she never really says more than 3 lines per episode. I could do without Spencer and Heidi because they just take up air time. I hope Justin Bobby comes back! Set your Tivo's!

Dunzo

Pink and her husband of two years Carey Hart have split up. This isn't a total shock, rumors have been around for quite some time now.

The singer’s publicist, Michele Schweitzer said“Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,” says Schweitzer, adding, “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”

Cheese Log

"Men's Health" magazine has named the Aussie Cheese Fries from Outback Steakhouse as the worst food in America. The fries are made with cheese, bits of bacon and are served with a side of Ranch dressing. They check in at a whopping 2,900 calories and contain 182 g fat 240 g carbs.

Holy hell, 182 grams of fat? Geez..that's not even right. Why is it ok for a restaurant to serve something as gnarly as that?

Men's Health said, "Even if you split this 'starter' with three friends, you'll have downed a dinner's worth of calories before your entree arrives. Follow this up with a steak, sides, and a dessert and you could easily break the 3,500 calorie barrier."

The Awesome Blossom from Chili's came in at #2.

Why are the things that taste so good sooooo bad for you? Can you imagine if carrots, broccoli, and green beans were super fattening and soaked with calories. And ice cream, chicken fingers and french fries were actually good for you?

Yay! It's done! “The strike is over,” Patric M. Verrone, president of the WGA West, said in a statement obtained by Usmagazine.com. “Our membership has voted and writers can go back to work.” And that means our favorite shows will be coming back to our screens and we won't have to watch re runs every night. Although it's said that it may take a while to get new episodes back on the air. Here's a rough break down of what and when:

I love this show. It's more action packed into a sitcom that you have ever seen. And there's laughs in there too. And even a bit of romance.

Journeyman- In repeats; off the schedule. Unlikely to return.

Medium- Six episodes remain. Production status is unknown

Love Love Love this show. Incredible cast and incredible writers

Scrubs- Status is unclear. NBC will soon decide whether to order three to five episodes to wrap up the series.

So, hopefully that will keep you happy for now. Hopefully there is a smooth transition and the writers are pleased with what they have been offered. Fingers crossed!

My girl Fi is feeling under the weather today, so I'm hoping that a couple of gorgeous photos of John Mayer will cheer her up a little bit and make her forget, even for a second, that she's sick. A little Johnny boy is better than a bowl of chicken noodle soup!

Kat Von D and her boyfriend Orbi may be close to walking down the isle. They've been dating for aprox. 6 months and in Hollywood that's like 6 years. Kat said he asked her Dad's permission to marry his daughter, so she's hoping for an engagement ring this Valentines Day.

The rumors keep persisting that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are engaged, but her rep insists that it's not true. Even though she was seen in a bridal store over the weekend, her rep insists that a member of her family is getting married, not Scarlett.

Where are the striped shirts going to hang out?

The Galaxy Concert Theatre (on Harbor) is shutting it's doors. I can't say that I'm heart broken though. That place always has had bad vibes for me. Every time I've ever been there something has happend. It was always filled with meat heads and hoochies, not my favorite. It could have been great if they would have kept it a great place to see live music, but that stopped awhile ago. Here's the skinny on what's going down.

"The Galaxy Concert Theatre, a staple of the live-music scene in Orange County for 13 years, is closing at the end of February, and new owners will debut an uber-nightclub in the Santa Ana space on June 1.

A spokesperson for the Mor Project, a new restaurant/nightclub management group helmed by Anton Posniak, said the new, 25,000-square-foot club called RevolveR would cater to upscale clubgoers, offering multiple rooms of entertainment, myriad VIP areas, fireplaces, indoor/outdoor seating and eight full-service bars.

Additionally, plans call for RevolveR’s design theme to change every few months — sort of a planned makeover.The Mor Project is the same group behind soon-to-open venues the Rustic Vine (in the Irvine Spectrum) and the Irezumi Sushi Lounge in Costa Mesa."

Hmm...that could be cool. As long as it's not only filled with meat heads and hoochies.

They keep on coming

There must be a line outside the front door! Pat O' Brian has checked into rehab. Or should I say, is going back to rehab. He went the last time when he wanted to "go crazy" with hookers and cocaine.

Results are in

It's being reported that the cause of death for Brad Renfro was herion. More specifially "acute heroin/morphine intoxication," and the drugs were injected, according to the coroner's office.

So sad, this could have been avoided.

Hello Michael

On Feb 17th, NBC is bringing "Knight Rider" back into our homes. Can you believe it? Man, I used to love that show.

One of the most important roles is of course the voice of the car, Kitt. It can make or break the show and it's vital that the right person does it. So, who did they choose? Drum roll please...........it's Val Kilmer! He's replacing Will Arnett, who had actually filmed all his parts as the car’s voice, but then had to pull out due to contractual reasons. What was the problem? Well, Arnett does voiceover work for GMC Trucks, and because KITT is a Ford Mustang, GM asked the actor to step down. ”I was very excited at the prospect of playing the part of KITT in the new Knight Rider movie,” Arnett said. ”However, because of a long relationship with General Motors as the voice of GMC Trucks, I had to respectfully withdraw from the project.”

The new Knight Rider centers on Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening), Michael Knight’s son he never knew he had. David Hasshelhoff, who played Michael Knight in NBC’s original 1980s TV series, will reprise his role for the movie. The story follows Tracer, recruited by his childhood best friend, Sarah Graiman (Deanna Russo), and her physicist father, Charles (Bruce Davison), as he joins the Knight Foundation, a group committed to mitigating damage done by private, covert military contractors. To help them achieve their goals, Charles creates a second-generation talking KITT car, which a shady millionaire tries to steal.

NBC will air the two-hour telepic on Feb. 17 as a pilot, and if successful, the network could pick it up as a series.

Rehab Roundabout

Scott Weiland has also entered rehab, though it's not clear where.

It's reported that the Velvet Revolver frontman went to a "facility" right after his band's Wednesday show in L.A., and according to a band statement, last night's show in San Diego had to be postponed. "Velvet Revolver deeply apologize to their fans and thank them for sticking by the group." Weiland was popped by cops last November for an alleged DUI

John Mayer kicked off his first-ever Mayercraft Cruise on February 1 that took him and thousands of fans around the Caribbean.

Man oh man, what I wouldn't have given to be on that cruise. Me and Fi would have had the time of our life! And how cool that he did that! There's not many stars that want to get that close to their fans.

Can you imagine just hanging out at the pool and then JOHN FRICKEN MAYER decides to sing a little songy song? I would FREAK OUT!!! It looks like such an awesome time. Check it out here!

Jennifer Lopez is ready to give birth to twins and day now! But that didn't stop her from stepping out on the town with her hubby Marc Anthony, twice in one week.

She told one of the reporters that even at home she doesn't wear comfy sweatsuits because she doesn't like how it looks with all teh extra weight she's gained. Even at home, she's always in a dress.

Wow, look at those 5 inch heels she's rocking! How does she do it?

Wow! Christina Agulira is rocking her post baby bod! Her boobs are really taking the spotlight and her hubby must be very happy!

Another one checks in

Kirsten Dunst has checked herself into Cirque Lodge in Utah. This is the same facility that Lindsay Lohan recently checked out of. And guess who else just checked out?

Yes, Eva Mendes! I was shocked on this one. I love her, and thought she wouldn't fall victim to the fast paced lifestyle. It's not clear why she was there, but hopefully she's all better.

Let's be honest, this is getting ridiculous. Is there anyone in Hollywood that ISN'T in treatement? Yes, there is. Reese Witherspoon is one. Selma Blair is another. Amanda Bynes. Hilary Duff. Those girls can hold it together. They stay out of the constant spotlight and work and are happy. See, it's not impossible!

Ok, back to Kirsten. "She desperately needed help,” a source in Utah tells Star Magazine. “She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. “She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs.”

Kirsten, 25, has long had a reputation for partying, with bloggers giving her the unfortunate nickname of Kirsten Drunkst.
