Put the signs down



Yay! It's done! “The strike is over,” Patric M. Verrone, president of the WGA West, said in a statement obtained by Usmagazine.com. “Our membership has voted and writers can go back to work.” And that means our favorite shows will be coming back to our screens and we won't have to watch re runs every night. Although it's said that it may take a while to get new episodes back on the air. Here's a rough break down of what and when:

Boston Legal-Final original episode airs Feb. 19. Expected to shoot 4 or 7 new episodes to air in April/May

Brothers & Sisters- In repeats.
I heart this show so much. I can't wait for some new episodes!

Carpoolers- In repeats; off the schedule. Unlikely to return

Cashmere Mafia- Final original episodes airs Feb. 13. Fate is unclear
Are you serious? How can its fate be unclear? This is a great show and I hope the renew it!

Desperate Housewives- In repeats. Expected to resume production; new episodes will be shown by spring
Phew, thank goodness! I was starting to go through some serious withdrawls!

Dirty Sexy Money-Three episodes remain; airdates are unknown

Lost-Premiered on Jan. 31. Will probably cut short its planned 16-episode season to about 13 episodes

Grey’s Anatomy-In repeats. Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May

October Road-Several original episodes remain. Production status is unknown

Private Practice-In repeats

Pushing Daises- In repeats. Will return in the fall

Samantha Who?- Final original episode airs on Feb. 18. Will return in the fall, if not before.
This is a good show too. Yes, it's fluffy and light, but that's what I like about it.

Ugly Betty- Final original episode aired Jan. 16 Expected to shoot several new episodes soon; will return in the fall

Cold Case- Last original episode airs Feb. 18. Production status is unknown.

CSI- In repeats. Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes.
This show is still amazing and I can't wait for it to return!

Ghost Whisperer- In repeats. Expected to shoot several new episodes soon.

How I Met Your Mother- In repeats. Expected to shoot several new episodes soon.
One of my favorite shows on TV. It's laugh out loud funny!

N.C.I.S.- In repeats. Expected to shoot several new episodes soon.
Lanie is obsessed!

New Adventures of Old Christine-Premieres Feb. 4.

NUMB3RS- Final original episode airs Jan. 18. Expected to shoot several new episodes soon.

Rules of Engagement- In repeats. Production status is unknown.

Shark- In repeats; off the schedule. Production status is unknown.

Two and a Half Men- In repeats. New episodes expected to begin airing in mid-March.
Another well written show, you can't help but love it.

Without a Trace- In repeats. Expected to shoot several new episodes soon.

Gossip Girl-In repeats. Expected to shoot up to 9 new episodes to air in April/May/June.
Haven't seen this show yet, but I want to start. Lexie said it's really good.

One Tree Hill- New episodes on Tuesdays. Fate is unclear.

Smallville- Four original episodes remain. 24- Off the schedule. Officially postponed until sometime next season.

Back to You- Two episodes remain; may air in February. Fate is unclear.

Bones- Four episodes remain; will air in spring.

Family Guy- Unknown number of episodes remain.
The writing on this show is so shocking and the line is pushed constantly. Two thumbs up!

House-Repeats are airing on Fridays. Not likely to broadcast new episodes until late April or early May.

Prison Break-Two original episodes remain. Fate is unclear.

The Simpsons- Fourteen episodes remain.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles- New episodes through March 3. If renewed, will not return until the fall.

Til Death- Premieres March 14.

30 Rock-In repeats. NBC hopes to shoot five new episodes, depending on Alec Baldwin’s availability.

Bionic Woman- repeats; off the schedule. Unlikely to return.

Chuck- Final original episode aired Jan. 24. Likely to return in the fall for its second season.
I love this show. It's more action packed into a sitcom that you have ever seen. And there's laughs in there too. And even a bit of romance.

ER- Final original episode aired Jan. 17. NBC is seeking to continue “ER” for another season.

Heroes- In repeats. Will likely not produce any further new episodes this season.

Journeyman- In repeats; off the schedule. Unlikely to return.

Medium- Six episodes remain. Production status is unknown

My Name Is Earl- In repeats. Expected to shoot 5 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May”
Love Love Love this show. Incredible cast and incredible writers

Scrubs- Status is unclear. NBC will soon decide whether to order three to five episodes to wrap up the series.

The Office- In repeats. Six or new episodes will begin airing on April 10.

So, hopefully that will keep you happy for now. Hopefully there is a smooth transition and the writers are pleased with what they have been offered. Fingers crossed!
