Did Reese Witherspoon dump her husband because he fell in love with his beautiful co-star?

The National Enquirer has uncovered a shocking scandal behind the breakup and learned exclusively that Reese ended her marriage after she found secret messages that husband Ryan Phillippe sent to another woman on his BlackBerry, say sources.

There are rumors that Ryan became very close to Abbie Cornish, his beautiful Australian co-star on a recently filmed movie with the working title "Stop Loss."

The Enqirer reports: "After the last day of filming in Austin, Texas, Ryan and Abbie had a cozy dinner alone at Kenichi, an Asian restaurant. "

"They came into the restaurant a month ago, both casually dressed in warm-up outfits," an eyewitness told The Enquirer. "They asked for the restaurant staff to pull curtains around their table, so no one could see them." But, according to one unconfirmed posting on an internet blog, a diner could see around the partition and claimed to watch them making out.

"We sat two tables away from Phillippe and an extremely attractive blonde (not Reese.) The couple had a partition placed around their table soon after they arrived, but we could still see their legs intertwined under the table."

Reese, 30, and Ryan, 32, have admitted to attending marriage counseling. Sources now tell The Enquirer that when Reese found apparent email proof of Ryan cheating it finally convinced her to end the troubled relationship.

Reese discovered Ryan's messages when she accompanied him to New York for the premiere of his movie "Flags of Our Fathers" on Oct. 16.

At the premiere the couple smiled and posed for photos together, "but when they got back to the hotel, Reese found Ryan's BlackBerry, which he'd carelessly left in the bathroom and she read it," said the source.

"Ryan was caught red-handed. All he could say was he didn't mean what he'd written to the other woman."

Ryan went to Morocco to finish filming "Stop Loss" and hoped Reese would cool off while he was gone.

But when he got home to their Brentwood, CA., mansion in late October, he was no longer welcome. The marriage was over and Reese kicked him out.

Before announcing the split, Reese contacted Los Angeles celebrity divorce attorney Robert Kaufman, who has represented Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Marie Presley.

Ryan and Reese, who's now Hollywood's highest paid actress after finalizing a $29-million deal for her next film, will now have to determine custody of their two children, 7-year-old Ava and Deacon, 3. "

Shame on you Ryan. I'm hoping this story isn't true and is just some fabricated bull made up by the N.E. because it would be a realy shame for you to be such a low life and cheat on your wife and tear your family apart like this. Here's hoping.

Tube News

Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott will be followed by cameras for a new Oxygen reality series. The show will watch “as they choose a bed-and-breakfast in Southern California to buy and refurbish” and get ready for the birth of their baby, Variety reports.

Sounds facinating.

Just as VH1 has given new life to aging celebrities in its Celebreality block of reality shows, the network will now create a similar primetime block called Wild Life that will feature reality shows focusing on the music industry.

The new shows include Man Band, a sort of combination of The Surreal Life and House of Carters. In the series, “former boy-band members including Bryan Abrams (Color Me Badd), Rich Cronin (LFO), Chris Kirkpatrick (‘N Sync) and Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees) will live together under one roof while creating new music and a new stage show, which they then will perform as a new pop group in the quest for finding success again,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

There’s also ego trip’s White Rapper Show, which is a competition in which “10 contestants competing to become the ‘next great white rapper.” Can you say K-Fed?

Two docudrama series follow people in the music industry who are struggling to make it.
1) The Irv Gotti Project, “Gotti is attempting a comeback with his label, the Inc, while also juggling his responsibilities as a husband and father”

2) an as-yet-untitled show “follows rock group Whitestarr as they seek success in the music industry.” Whitestarr is the band that Cisco Adler is in. He became famous by being Misha Bartons boyfriend. Why do we care about him?

Finally, VH1 has greenlit two documentary-style series. Bridging the Gap “documents two established artists who come together for the first time to explore their shared musical passions and create a new track. The first episode will feature Eve and Queen Latifah,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. That sounds like it could be pretty cool.

And every Rags to Riches episode “will feature a musician or actor taking viewers on a journey from his or her humble beginnings through stardom.” This sounds like a lot of other shows out there, specifically, "Driven" which is currently on VH1.

I hate to admit this, but I will probably check out each of these shows to see just how bad they are. I can't help it. I know, I have a problem. I need help. Admitting it is the first step.

Mental breakdown

Linds is loosing her mind. TMZ has this to report:

"At 6:45 am, a spy spotted Lindsay at Olive and Sunset in Hollywood, near a dog park. Lindsay was sitting in her parked black Cadillac Escalade and our spy, who was walking his dog, could see Lohan through the tinted windows, "freaking out" and talking on her phone.

Then, Lohan called our spy over and told him that two men in a silver Toyota 4Runner -- parked behind her -- had been following her for the last two hours, trying to "hit" her vehicle.

Our spy reports that "she seemed out of it," that it appeared she'd been out all night, and that she'd clearly been crying, with mascara running down her face.

"I've called the cops," said Lindsay of her alleged pursuers. "But the cops can't catch them." What Lindsay didn't even realize in her reduced state was that the two men in the Toyota were actually paparazzi. Our spy saw them snapping away.

And, he says, as their vehicle started to creep up on Lindsay's Escalade, she shifted into drive, hit the gas and took off. The paparazzi followed her. An email sent to her rep was not immediately returned. "

Sounds like she needs to take a break from all the partying and pull herself together!

Say it aint so!!!

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Ryan Phillippe, 32, and Reese Witherspoon, 30, have separated.

I know, I'm bummed out too. I thought they had a real shot.

"We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate," the couple's rep said in a statement released today. "They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time. "

The couple of seven years have two children, Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3.

No one specific event is said to have triggered the split. A source says that the decision to separate was “cumulative.” The couple have admitted to attending marriage counseling in the past.

"We're still trying to figure out the mystery of marriage," Witherspoon told In Style magazine in 2004. "It isn't one happy joy-ride, and I so admire couples who've been together forever. Ryan and I were practically babies when we met, and then we were having babies. But we've matured a lot. I've become less judgmental and more understanding. He helps me find the good in people and the best parts of myself, and we've really discovered balance."

Divorce papers have not yet been filed.

This is really dissapointing. Why can't Hollywood marriages stay together longer than 10 years?

It's Shane's Birthday

Friday night was Shane's birthday party and we a blast. The McCools drove in from Arizona and the rest of the gang came over to raise a glass to our good friend and wish him a happy birthday.

There was lots of drinking, music, and playing poker (oh, and alocohol) and we partied into the wee hours of the morning, finally crashing out at 3:30am.

Skinny Nic passes out

TMZ reports that Nicole Richie passed out at hot hollywood hang out "Hyde" early Sunday morning.

"We're told it occurred just before 2 a.m., when Richie passed out and fell to the floor. An employee approached Richie and her friends and said he was calling 911. Sources say they told the employee not to make the call and that they would take Richie to a hospital. The friends then carried Richie out of the club through the back door. "

It's unknown if Richie went to the hospital. If this story is true, she needs to get medical attention.

As I reported last week, she was admitted into a clinic to see why she's not gaining weight. Maybe she's better off staying somewhere that doesn't let her go out at night.

Newsted Down

It seems those Supernova boys are running into obstacle after obstacle.

Their newest (and most severe one) is that Jason Newsted has been injured and won't be on the tour.

Billboard reports: "Rock Star Supernova bassist Jason Newsted has suffered a major shoulder injury and will be out of commission for up to nine months, according to a spokesperson. Newsted will require immediate surgery after tearing his left bicep and rotator cuff while trying to catch a bass that had fallen off an amplifier. "

Holy crap. That sounds painful.

"When we started this project, I was handed a list of names -- guys who could potentially anchor our rhythm section," Lee says in a statement. "I responded by crumpling up the paper and asking, 'Where's Newsted?' Jason was always the right guy for this band and we'll miss having him with us as we kick off our album and tour, but we know he'll be back as soon as he can pick up and play."

"For his part, Newsted said, 'I’m freaking out, my heart was set on finally getting on the road with these guys but my main focus now is to build myself back to 100 percent. The stage is set for the band, I wish them the best of luck.”

It's about time

Nicole Richie is finally getting help.

Reuters reports :Nicole's admission to the unidentified facility has forced a delay in production of the latest installment of her popular TV reality show.

And a spokesperson for 20th Century Fox Television indicated that production had already begun, and would continue after Nicole leaves the facility.

In a statement, Nicoles spokesperson insists that her rehabilitation is not because Nicole has an eating disorder: 'She is working with a team of doctors and specialists whose focus is nutrition. It is important to Nicole that she achieves this goal in a healthy way as this is not a treatment for an eating disorder.'

The Simple Life isn't funny with just Paris. Nicole is the guts and glory in that show. Get some meat on those bones Nic, I know you can do it!!

Leinart is a baby daddy

I had no idea that Matt Leinart was dating someone, and quite shocked to hear that she has just given birth to their child!

Us Weekly reports:
"Matt Leinart and girlfriend Brynn Cameron welcomed their first child early Tuesday morning. The baby boy, which the couple has named Cole Cameron Leinart, weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces.

Leinart, 23, is a quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, and won the 2004 Heisman Trophy Award as quarterback for the University of Southern California. Cameron, 20, is a junior at USC where she plays guard on the womens basketball team (she's redshirting the 2006 - 2007 season).

Leinart, has been linked with Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson's former assistant Cacee Cobb and Laguna Beach's Kristin Cavallari, but has been dating Cameron since February 2005. The couple met during study hall at USC.

'I'm extremely happy with Brynn,' Leinart told Sports Illustrated in 2005. 'She doesn't know the Matt Leinart that's in the press; she just knows me as little Matty, her boyfriend. I mean, she didn't even know what a Heisman Trophy was. That's what I love about her."

Little Matty? Um, ok. And how could she not know what the Heisman Trophy is? She's an athlete for goodness sake. Even I know what it is.

Hey Leinart! You should have stuck with my girl Fi. She knows more about sports than you probably do!

Oh happy day! There's a new Foo Fighters CD coming out. Ok, it's not entirely new, but it's close enough. Here's the description on ITunes:

This birthday boy is one of my best friends and one of my favorite people. He was Matt's best man in our wedding, and is a huge part of our lives. He's a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and friend. Oh, and he's also hot! (Sorry ladies, he's married to my other best friend!)

In all the years I've known Shane (that's 8 for those that are keeping score) there are very few times that he hasn't greeted me with a 1000 watt smile and huge hug. It always brightens my day!

He's always happy and loving and cares about his family and friends to the core. He's a huge fan of Hendrix, AC/DC, the Angels, the Lakers to name a few and I just hope he knows that's how we feel about him. We're his biggest fans!

Oh Snoop Dogg

Ooopsies!

TMZ reports: "Rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg (aka Calvin Broadus) was busted for attempting to carry a weapon through an airport security checkpoint.

According to law enforcement officials, Snoop attempted to walk through an X-ray machine at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif. late last month with a 21" collapsible baton packed in his laptop computer case.

Orange County Sheriffs' deputies were called to the scene where they detained the rapper and confiscated the weapon. Snoop was not arrested, however, and we're told the Sheriffs Department file was sent to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. The D.A. may decide as early as today whether to file criminal charges against the rapper.

Wha what! Snoop0 Dogg in the OC! Why was I not notified about this? I wanted to go say hi, and tell him not to go through X-ray machines with his weapon.

Hey, he probably had a lot on his mind and forgot he even had it on him. I would almost prefer him to be able to carry on his weapon because if some shit went down on a flight, he's the guy I'd want in control. Worrrrd!

Wedding Bells

Us Weekly confirms that Tom and Katie have set a wedding date:

"Guests were notified late in the day on Friday to be free the weekend of November 16-19. The couple's rep, Arnold Robinson, confirms the wedding will take place November 18 in Italy."

"It's a moment that's been a long time coming--Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 44, have been engaged since June 2005."

Are you serious? Did they just say that it's been a long time coming? Yea, they've been engaged a whole year....what a long time to wait to get hitched. And they've been dating forever...also since June 2005.

Does anyone even really care about this anymore?

It's Monday again. I was feeling a little bit preppy this morning so I had to rock the sweater vest. I forgot how much I like it, maybe I'll try bringing it back?

It's Jim

Friday night Matt arranged a date night for the two of us. I figured we were going to go to dinner and then hang out at home to watch a movie. That sounded great to me and I was looking forward to starting off the weekend with my Man.

When I got home from work, Matt told me to pack an overnight bag but wouldn't tell me anything else. I was totally clueless and baffled as to where we were going. Whhaaaa?!!! Overnight bag? Daang, this is going to be good:)

We got on the road at about 6:30pm and cruised down PCH. The sun was setting and it was perfect timing to hit the coast. We drove for about 40 mins until we reached The Seaport Hotel in Long Beach.

Once we were checked in and in our room, Matt told me that we were going to dinner and then to see the "Wild Child" show. What? Huh? Really? I was so surprised...I had no idea whatsoever!

Wild Child is a Doors tribute band and they're pretty popular in Orange County. The last time we saw them was before we were dating, but we were both single and we started paying a bit more attention to each other than usual. So it's a lil something special for us.

Anyway, Matt felt bad that the whole John Mayer show didn't pan out so he wanted to take me to see some kind of live music. How awesome is that? Pretty fricken awesome!

We went to dinner and had some drinks and came back to the hotel to partake in the goodies that my awesome hubby had brought along with us: A cooler stocked with ice, beer, Jauger and Red Bull. Isn't he just the best? We had some more drinks and then walked over to the venue where the band was playing. (It was in a part of the hotel.)

The band sounded great. If you're a Doors fan, I highly recommend seeing Wild Child live. It's a fun show and pretty authentic. The crowd is always sweet if you like to people watch. There was a huge mix of people, all from different generations and ages. Some of them probably saw the Doors when they were around, some of them are new fans, some of them there because they had nothing else to do on a Friday night. Whatever the reason, everyone was grooving and rocking and feeling alllrriiiiiiiiight. It was a fun night.

What a lucky girl I am to have a husband that thinks of these things....he's just thoughtful and generous and I feel very lucky to be his wifey!

Fraggle Rock in tha house

'Fraggle Rock' is to be turned into a movie.

The big screen version of the hit 80s children's TV show - created by Jim
Henson - is being developed Ahmet Zappa, the son of legendary rocker Frank
Zappa.

Lisa Henson, the co-CEO of the Jim Henson Company, said: "We recently had a
talk with Zappa about books and movies.

"During that conversation, I had an intuition that he might be a 'Fraggle
Rock' fan. He jumped out of his seat when he heard our idea of making
'Fraggle Rock' into a feature-length movie."

The film will have the lead puppet characters from the original show -
Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red - travelling from the Rock out into the human
world for the first time.

Lisa added: "The Fraggles didn't really get into the human world on the
series, so we plan to make the movie more about the intersection between the
Fraggles and the humans."

The award-winning TV show - which premiered in the US in 1983 - ran for five
series and, like it's predecessor 'The Muppet Show', it soon gathered a
strong fan base around the word.

Holla Back coming back

Gwen Stefani is releasing a new album this year and the name and release date have been reveled. "Sweet Escape" will be released on December 5th.

Her first single is Wind it Up is hip hop meets yodeling track produced by Pharrell Williams, who also worked with Gwen on her Hollaback Girl track.

Of her new album, Gwen says, "This is definitely another dance record but the sound has evolved a lot over the last two years as I've gone in and out of the studio. It's more melodic and very modern."

She's going on tour in April and I'd like to go check her out. I love Gwen and thinks she totally rocks it.
