In My Life
Can I be honest with you? I sat in front of my computer screen for over 20 minutes staring blankley at this particular space on my blog. It's asking me for a description but no words are coming out. I have nothing. I can usually find something witty, or serious or sarcastic to say. But no, it's just me, staring at this bloody screen. I hear crickets. If you have any suggestions, holla at your girl.

Music makes the soul feel GOOD!
I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger. It's been some while. But in my defense, I have thought about you a lot. There have been things I wanted to share, talk about, discuss...but I have been so busy. I have neglected you, and I hope you'll forgive me. Work is nuts right now, so busy busy busy. I haven't had a spare moment to write, so I am deeply sorry. The truth is, I am still beyond busy without a second to spare, but there is something just too important not to share with you.....
Two words...
JASON MRAZ.
Go out right now and buy his new CD called "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things."
Don't even think about it, just do it. It's a-ma-za-zing. Every single song. The lyrics are sweet and beautiful and it just makes me feel so good. My favorite tracks are: I'm Yours, Lucky, Butterfly and It Kills Me. Oh and also, Only Human, Details in the Fabric, The Dynamo of Volition....eh, who am I kidding? The whole CD is perfection. If you like Jack Johnson (is there anyone that doesn't?) then you will dig this CD.
Trust me on this one. Really.
You won't be disappointed.

When You’re Drunk...
I saw thes posted on a Myspace blog and had to share.
It's funny because it's true.
THINGS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO SAY WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK:
1. Innovative
2. Preliminary
3. Proliferation
4. Cinnamon
THINGS THAT ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SAY WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK:
1. Specificity
2. Anti-constitutionalistically
3. Passive-aggressive disorder
4. Transubstantiate
THINGS THAT ARE DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK:
1. Thanks, but I don't want to have sex.
2. Nope, no more booze for me!
3. Sorry, but you're not really my type.
4. Taco Bell ? No thanks, I'm not hungry.
5. Good evening, officer. Isn't it lovely out tonight?
6. Oh, I couldn't! No one wants to hear me sing karaoke.
7. I'm not interested in fighting you.
8. I won't make any attempt to dance. I'd hate to look like a fool!
9. Where is the nearest bathroom? I refuse to pee in this parking lot or on the side of the road.
10. I must be going home now as I have to work in the morning.

Wentz Wedding
On Saturday evening, at the home of her parents, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married. Dad, Joe Simpson officiated over the non-denominational ceremony under white tents. (Remember, before he was stage dad extrondinare he was a preacher.) The theme was Alice in Wonderland and the 150 guests all had a great time partying the night away. Once person that wasn't taking advantage of the open bar was the bride, seeing as she's with baby. Yes, Ashlee is pregnant...so that explains the quickie wedding!

TIme Travel
I just heard Bad English, "When I see you smile" on the radio and oh my gosh, it took me right back to 1989 when I was a freshman in high school. It seemed like everything was so important at that time. Life or death. Isn't it funny how hearing a song can totally transport you back to another time in your life?

Old School
I haven't listned to KROQ for a while, but I have had it on during work this past week. And I never knew they played so much of Rage against the Machine. I love that band, seem them 3 times live before the broke up. And I have heard 2 of their songs today alone. Sweet!
Ice Cream Heaven
Irvine Robbins, co-founder of the Baskin- Robbins ice cream empire has passed away at the age of 90 years old. The comforting thing is knowing that a lot of people that I love and cherish will be up in heaven, chowing down on rocky road, mint chip and the other 29 flavors.
Check out this really interesting article about his life, success and how he brought the happy happy joy joy of desserts to the masses.

We all know
Dear Rihanna and Chris Brown,
Even though you keep denying that you're a couple and insisting that you are merely Platonic friends, we know. We all know. And what is it that we know? We know that you're "together." And now we finally have proof. Hello kissy kissy in KFC. I think you guys are adorable together, so why all the mystique? Only Jay Z and Beyonce can pull that crap. So, say it loud, say it proud and own it!
Love, your friend, Gina
Split
This is sad to hear, but Liv Tyler and her husband Royston Langdon, have decided to separate after five years.
Her rep confirms the news to PEOPLE. "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."
I really like Liv Tyler. Me and the girls saw her one time when we were at the airport in Phoenix and she was so chill and normal and nice. Hopefully they can get through this and still remain on good terms. I see that happening, she seems very non-confrontational.
Hot family alert
How hot are these photos of Nicole, Joel and baby Harlow from the new Harpers Bazaare? When I have a kid, I totally want to do a photo shoot like this, all rock and roll and stuff. You think I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not. I'm serious!

Done Deal
Well, here it is. The photo from Mariah and Nicks wedding.
This is nuts. And if you think that is rushing it, here's what she told People Magazine: "One thing (few people) knew was we got tattoos a few weeks earlier. So anyone who saw my ("Mrs. Cannon") tattoo wasn't surprised." Oh, and not to be outdone, Nick got Mariah's named tattooed on his back. It goes from shoulder to shoulder. Good times.
She went on to say that she hopes they will have children soon, "I'd just want our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could." Um, didn't you say you were eternally 12? How is a 12 year old going to raise babies?
Ok, ok, I'm being all Debbie Downer again, I'm sorry. I don't know what it is about them two that rubs me the wrong way. I think it's just the fact that they were together less then 2 months before getting inked and married. Yea, that must be it.
