Sentenced

Lou Diamond Phillips faced his sentencing yesterday on his domestic battery charges. People magazine has the details:

"Phillips, 44, was sentenced to 32 months of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling and 200 hours of community service.

Phillips was charged with domestic battery, a misdemeanor, in September. The charges stemmed from his Aug. 11 arrest after a physical fight with his girlfriend."

It's been rumored that the fight broke out when his new girlfriend admitted that she was in love with Melissa Etheridge. Ouch!

I loved the movie La Bamba. I saw it in the theater with my Mom after a parent teacher night at Ensign Junior High.
