Dunzo

Johnny Knoxville and his wife, Melanie, have separated after nearly 12 years of marriage. They have a daughter, Madison, 10.

Knoxville’s not going the regular separation route. This fall he moved with his girlfriend, a former waitress, two doors down from his wife and daughter. It looks like his estranged wife will put up with quite a lot:

Johnny, 35, and his new girlfriend, a former waitress at NYC’s Mercer Hotel, have moved just a couple of doors away from his estranged wife, Melanie Cates, and their 10-year-old daughter, Madison! “They’ve been living together since the fall and are staying near his wife’s home,” an insider reveals. “They’re really in love.”

From what I heard, there was no pre nup, so she stands to get some moolah. He only started making the big money about 5 or 6 years ago, so he had no way of thinking he needed a pre nup.

I heat Johnny, but it's sad that their marriage is over. Especially when thre is a child involved. Hopefully he will continue being a good Dad to her and not let this get messy.

Hey..separation is NOT divorce. My prayer is that this traditionally NON hollywood couple WILL resolve their differences and reconcile. All marriages go thru rough times. Nothing is etched in stone yet. I have heard that these are two very nice and kind folks..They have a daughter. Hollywood corrupts good people He's from a nice family--and when there is a child involved, it is time to start thinking about why you fell in love in the first place. I think he's got a drinking problem, and perhaps needs to invest more time in HIS MARRIAGE relationship--give it all you can before you end things. Obviously, we don't know the family situation, but I hope this nice family stays together. (PS: I am coming up on 25 years of marriage, I love Jackass and JK, and I really liked his devotion to family)..And, lots of marriages,(my own included) hit spots where you wondered if you'd make it. We did--my advice (unsolicited) to JK--make sure you've done EVERYTHING you can to make your marriage work..for Madison's, Melanie's sake, and your own. The grass ISN'T always greener..God bless.
